Waffle King

In a completely unexpected location, I was surprised to learn about the existence of Waffle King. However, seeing my friends and I are dessert cafe addicts, we had to give it a shot! We made a relatively spontaneous visit to Waffle King on a Wednesday night, during a study break that turned into a five hour long fiesta. But that's another story!

We arrived at about 9:20, hoping they weren't closing. Thankfully, we walked in the door and were greeted by a friendly man, who showed us our seats and gave an in depth explanation about the menu! He explained about the two sorts of Waffles (Belgian Sugar and Cinnamon) and about their specialities. We then had to face the arduous task of choosing what to order. I settled on the Belgian Sugar Waffles with Melted Milk Chocolate and Icecream, whilst my friends decided to share the Belgian Sugar Waffles with Fresh Fruit and Cream. I also ordered an iced chocolate, whilst my two friends got milkshakes.

After a few minutes of watching the waffles being made in the middle of the store, our dessert arrived! It looked almost too good to eat, and I was incredibly excited. The waffles were FANTASTIC.

9.5/10.
